Life is Grand

Usually the transition from spring to summer is a difficult one for me. I know, weird , huh ? I just have trouble with the unstructured aspect of summer. However, I am pleased to say that I am not feeling that way this year. I have changed things up a bit with my early morning routine and my overall perspective on things and I must say, life is GRAND.
I decided to be willing to meditate anytime and anywhere, not just in my little sanctuary with dim lighting and candles. I have been walking miles, pulling weeds, and just gazing at the view before me, whatever that may be. I have found that I am calmer and more observant.
This morning I decided to work in my garden very early and witnessed the birds bathing in my new fountain (the sounds of that is a treat in and of itself), the light was soft, and I noticed that my summer flowers are beginning to bloom.
Enjoy the weekend, and remember to stop and smell the roses.
